What we collect

To understand how Canadian small businesses use this site, we collect only de-identified or aggregated fields such as province, selected city, industry category, business stage, approximate team-size range, topic category, whether an answer was useful, question length, source count, and whether you started the Business Scan.

What we don’t collect for analytics

• · Raw questions you type into Ask AI Biz
• · Your name, email or contact details
• · Customer names or contact information
• · Tax details, financial information, or funding-application content
• · Uploaded documents or private business content

Ask AI Biz processes your question to produce an answer, but does not retain the question text after the request is complete.

Consents

We keep these three consents separate:

1. Core service processing (required to use the site)
2. Optional anonymous research
3. AI Sync marketing communication

Session-replay analytics are not enabled at launch.
